Ian and Jo have always had a heart for spreading the Gospel message. They have been members of their local church in Australia for more than 32 years and have actively used the gifts that God has given them to serve the Church. Ian is a carpenter by trade and has been in the industry for over 40 years and has used his skills on numerous building projects to help Churches and Parachurch organisations. Jo keeps things moving from an administrative perspective and support Ian in countless ways. Together they are a formidible team!
Buildaid began when God moved in the hearts of Ian and Jo, and grew their desire to support the work being done around the world for the spread the gospel. In November 2012 they gave up their business to work full time in mission construction work and Build Aid Missions was born.
Gary and Faith McCay work with the Kol people of Papua New Guinea. They have worked in a Medical clinic and have also, by God's grace, made the Gospel known. They have worked on bible translation and building a local church. Faith works with the ladies and closely with Gary. They have successfully started a church which now has it’s own pastor.
Gary and Faith are parents to two adult children, Clarie and Kade.
Chad and Erika as well as their four children, Leif, Piper, Asher, and Wren, live and serve in Chang Mai, Thailand. Chad works as a counsellor and Erika ministers to people through teaching art and the connection between theology and the arts. Chad is also the person behind may of the creative projects that SIM does.
