Our Senior Pastor
Tim and Tammy Loftis are naturalized Australians who migrated from the USA in 1986. They have six children, three of whom were born here in Victoria. Two of their children are married and live in the area, and they now have 3 grandchildren. Tim was trained in seminary in the USA and has been in full time ministry for over thirty years. As the founding Pastor of the church, Pastor Tim is committed to allowing God to grow and change him as he leads Suburban to effective ministry in our community.
Who are we?
Suburban Baptist Church is a non-affiliated, community based church which was started in 1987 at the Bellbridge Primary School in Hoppers Crossing. The church moved into new facilities at 152-154 Bellbridge Dr. Hoppers Crossing in June of 2005. In our 22nd year of ministry (2009) we are committed to being relevant and effective as Christ fulfills His promise to build His church.
What do we believe?
As a church, we hold to the Bible as the only source of truth for the Christian faith. Our aim is to practice that truth in our everyday living.
